Sending Mothers’ Day flowers C.O.D. is wrong. Like…really wrong. So is trying to pick up mourners at a funeral. Well, littering is wrong, too!
Keep America Beautiful recently launched a national campaign to get people talking about littering. iLivehere, an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, brought the Littering is Wrong Too campaign to the Quad Cities. We want to make sure people know just how wrong it is to litter. The Littering is Wrong Too campaign uses a unique and light-hearted approach to get attention and be remembered. It links littering with other wrongdoings, like kicking your grandma.
We hope you will join us in spreading the word that littering is just plain wrong! Want to know more? Check out our Littering is Wrong Too page, like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter or contact us at 563-468-4218.

I really can’t see the comparison of medical malpractice resulting in the loss of a leg to littering to be apt or humane. You mah want to reconsider running this ad.
J Rome,
Thank you for your comment. Littering Is Wrong Too is a national campaign developed by Keep America Beautiful, of which we are a local affiliate. The Littering Is Wrong Too messages have been thoroughly researched, tested and proven effective across the nation with the target audience of 18-34 year olds, which statistics show are the most likely to be litterers. The campaign takes a unique and light-hearted approach to get attention and be remembered. It links littering with wrongdoings of all sorts, scales and magnitudes. The point is not to judge how wrong something is compared to littering. Rather, the message is, here are a variety of things that people in the target age group consider wrong. And we want that target age group to consider littering as something that is wrong, too. Again, thank you for your comment and we appreciate your feedback.

I agree with J Rome who said that showing an ad where cutting off a leg is wrong may not be a good idea. It is not a good ad!
