Resources

We believe everyone has the power to make a difference in their corner of the Quad Cities! The purpose of iLivehere is to enable individuals to take greater responsibility for their community environment. So, we provide resources to help you do your part. Perhaps you want to pick up litter in your neighborhood and you just need trash bags and gloves. Or maybe you have a wonderful idea for a community project, but you need cash to get it done. If you’re a teacher or leader in our community, we want to help you pass on a message of environmental stewardship.

Free cleanup supplies
We provide bags, gloves, litter tongs and safety vests to groups willing to cleanup litter. Call 563-468-4218 to request supplies.

Commission Grant Program
Waste Commission of Scott County provides grants for educational institutions, local non-profit organizations and community groups and member communities of our 28E agreement. Click here for more information.

Clean & Green Unit
Keep Iowa Beautiful (KIB) developed a series of lesson plans for K-2 related to the environment called Clean & Green. Waste Commission of Scott County and Davenport Community School District worked with KIB to pilot the program. Davenport Schools created a version of Clean & Green to specifically meet their needs. Both versions are available for use.
